Graduation, Part 2

Saturday brought yet another graduation: The College of Education commencement ceremony. I had the opportunity to walk again since I received two separate Bachelor's degrees! Being one of two Spanish Education majors, I was on my own for this graduation!

Dressed up in all of my cords and stoles. I had two cords. One for being a member of Golden Key International Honor Society and one for graduating with Honors (Summa Cum Laude, 3.99/4.0 GPA). I also had three stoles. One for being a Dean's Scholar, one for completing the Honor's Program, and one for being a multicultural student. I was very proud to wear them all!

Luckily my family had a second chance to catch me walking across the stage. And, they got it!

I was blessed to have so many of my friends and family came to support me! We fought the wind to take a million more pictures and then headed off to celebrate with some lunch before our graduation party!

   

   

   

   

   

   

I did it!

My four years at Wichita State seemed to fly by! However, I am glad that I made the choice to go there! Tyler and I are both proud SHOCKER alumni!

Graduation, Part 1

Just last weekend we both graduated college! Tyler got a Bachelor's of General Studies in Political Science. And I got a Bachelor's of Arts in Education (Spanish) and a Bachelor's of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Psychology!

We both walked on Friday, May 17th in the Liberal Arts and Sciences Commencement ceremony! We got to walk in together and sit next to each other, crossing the stage one after the other.

After taking what seemed like a million pictures, we headed off to celebrate at Freddy's Frozen Custard! Thanks to all of our family that came to support us!

   

   

   

We did it! We graduated!
